As a foodie and an ex-hotelier, I always crave for the authentic food and I do love to write about it when I find one. Just on my birthday, it simply suited my taste. Pizza Di Rocco is one of such places that I am going to mention here. I am more into online food delivery as my child is a bit handful. This time I tried my luck as a real -in-person-diner in a real restaurant.
This place reminds of Mini Italy. Although I have never been to Italy still you get the Italian food experience here in Abu Dhabi itself. Why bother traveling so far!
The staff with a genuine smile would greet you and you can choose the seating as per the number of pax. We took a look at the restaurant which has a live oven ( must say, one of the most beautiful ovens in the world)
Food options are actually really healthy as they are made from fresh ingredients and have the option of vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Such diverse options are rare in Abu Dhabi, I swear!
We started with Salads, pasta, and some appetizers. To be honest, they were superbly made and they lived up to the expectations. Great start to a great meal.
Vegan options are plenty and any vegetarian would love this place too.
The USP is the homemade favorites that include Rocco’s tomato sauce, their zesty salad dressings, caramelized onions, fresh basil pesto and selection of flavored herb and chili oils, which are handcrafted to perfection.
Location is prime and is located at Salam Street, Abu Dhabi, easy to locate!
Pizzas are awesome as their pizza dough is made keeping in mind the health. The crust options are – wholewheat, pan, etc and the taste is finger licking good!
It will be too bad to skip the desserts as being too good. We tried Tiramisu and the cheesecake and we loved the taste and fell in love with the presentation.
As per the famous Chinese proverb, we first eat from our eyes, then from our nose and then from our mouth.
We had an amazing family time here, the fun never ends when the food satiates your taste buds and your loved ones are happy and relaxed.

It has won several awards from Time out Abu Dhabi as well, so I am not the only Fan.
